Career opportunities were offered to NVGCHS students when two career specialists graced the 2014 Career Guidance Week as

resource speakers at the Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Sept. 29.

 

Provincial TESDA Specialist, Eva T. Doniego gave an overview on the nature and program of the TESDA, while Gerardo M.
Nicolas, Administrative Officer V of the Department of Labor and Employment discussed on the jobs fitted for 2020 based on the current labor market trends. NVGCHS OIC Dr. Samuel R. Soliven also shared on the opportunities the Senior High School can offer to the students.

 

One of the highlights of the program was the career fiesta parade organized by Mr. Maximino Noveda Jr. and participated in by several students in complete attires depicting individuals in the following fields: Human Services, Beauty Care & Fashion;
Arts, Audio-Video, Information Technology and Communications; Architecture and Construction; Law, Public Safety and Corrections; Food Production and Manufacturing Services; Hospitality, Tourism & Aviation Services; Health Sciences; and Education.


The week-long program was spearheaded by the Guidance Office led by Mrs. Noemi Salvatierra, Guidance Coordinator; Mrs Angelita Salunat, Mrs. Clarita Abalos and Dr. Roscoe Gacusana. PTA President Engr. Manolito B. Lumidao opened the program and the participants were welcomed by Joselito U. Quijano.
